Connecting a thermal printer is plug-and-play. For USB printers, simply plug the printer into your computer and Setuverse will detect it automatically using WebUSB. For Bluetooth printers (great for mobile billing), pair the printer with your phone or tablet in your device settings, then select it in Setuverse. For network/Wi-Fi printers in the kitchen, enter the printer's IP address in the Setuverse printer settings. We support all ESC/POS compatible printers — both 58mm (2-inch) and 80mm (3-inch) — from brands like Epson, Star, Bixolon, and TVS.
Swiggy and Zomato integrations are currently in development and are expected to launch soon. Once available, orders from these platforms will flow directly into your Setuverse POS — no more switching between tablets. KOTs will be auto-printed, inventory will be auto-deducted, and all sales will appear in your unified daily report. In the meantime, you can use our direct online ordering feature to take commission-free orders through WhatsApp and your website.
Direct Tally Prime integration is coming soon and will allow you to export daily sales vouchers, purchase entries, and expense vouchers directly into Tally. In the meantime, you can export all your sales and financial data to Excel from Setuverse, which your accountant can import into Tally manually. The Excel exports include all the fields Tally needs — invoice number, date, party name, taxable amount, CGST, SGST, IGST, and total.
Setuverse supports all major payment methods used in India: UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), credit and debit cards via Pine Labs POS terminals, online payments through Razorpay (cards, net banking, wallets), BharatPe QR codes, and of course cash with full denomination tracking. Split payments are also supported — a customer can pay part by UPI and part by cash on the same bill. All payment data is automatically reconciled in your daily sales report.
No proprietary hardware is required. Setuverse runs on any Windows computer, Android phone or tablet, iPhone or iPad, and any modern web browser. For printing, any ESC/POS thermal printer works — you do not need to buy a specific brand. Barcode scanners work via standard USB HID, and cash drawers connect through the printer's RJ11 port. If you already have a computer and a thermal printer, you are ready to go.

Almost certainly yes. If your thermal printer supports ESC/POS commands (which virtually all receipt printers do), it will work with Setuverse. This includes 58mm (2-inch) portable printers and 80mm (3-inch) counter printers. We support four connection types: USB (via WebUSB), Bluetooth (for mobile devices), Network/Wi-Fi (ideal for kitchen printers), and Serial (for legacy COM port setups). Brands we have tested and confirmed include Epson, Star, Bixolon, TVS, and most generic Chinese ESC/POS printers.
Exporting GST reports is a one-click process. Go to Reports in your Setuverse dashboard, select the period (monthly or quarterly), and click Export GSTR-1 or Export GSTR-3B. The system generates a file in the exact format required by the GST portal — you can upload it directly without any modifications. All invoice details including HSN/SAC codes, tax rates, taxable values, CGST, SGST, and IGST are pre-populated from your billing data.
